We have over 300 agents throughout California selling Baja-Mex Insurance policies which enhances their overall insurance portfolios for their clients. We have represented Grupo Nacional Provincial, Mexico’s largest insurance company for over 42 years.

Baja-Mex Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking new producer appointments to complement our current appointments throughout the United States. The key to Baja-Mex’s success has been the management of the agent/broker process. Some of the criteria we use to evaluate Baja-Mex results are the same benchmarks that guide the success of an appointment with Baja-Mex.

Baja-Mex expects its agents/brokers to operate under the same business philosophy as Baja-Mex. This includes the following attributes:

• Character: impeccable reputation in all personal and professional interactions.
• Competence: professional experience and comprehension of the insurance industry's social, political, and economic trends.
• Capital: a proven track record of profitability and growth potential.

Sub-Agent Responsibilities:

State: Insurance licenses are issued by all states. Each insurance department establishes the required qualifications for this license. The states issue licenses for both residents and nonresidents. The state regulations will dictate whether licenses are issued for business entities and/or individuals. Agent or Broker: It is the insurance agent or broker’s responsibility to obtain insurance licenses and meet the licensing qualifications required by each state insurance department to which they apply. It is also the agent or broker’s responsibility to pay all initial and renewal licensing fees as required by each state. Furthermore, it is incumbent upon all agents and brokers to abide by all applicable insurance laws and regulations.

To facilitate your request we will need a copy of your Insurance License and Errors and Omissions Insurance. Upon receipt of these items, we will forward you a contract and agreement for the sales of the Mexican Insurance policies. The contract will specify the commission basis and remittance procedures, etc. Upon signing and returning this to us we will forward you all the necessary information and products to issue these policies directly from your office online.
